Vital Point was established by Joseph Douat in 1992 and offers traditional Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Shiatsu massage, and nutrition advice. The practice is conveniently located in Bankers Hill in central San Diego. Free parking is available on the surrounding streets.

Joseph Douat, L.Ac., MTOM has studied and practiced Oriental Medicine for over 22 years. He has a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, is a licensed acupuncturist, and is board certified by the National Council for the Certification of Acupuncturists. Jo is a former faculty member of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Associate Staff Member in Acupuncture in the Department of Medicine at UCSD Medical Center.

Vital Point’s goal is to tailor a custom program set to your specific needs. Acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, and massage can be utilized separately or together, depending on your goals.
